Beeline and Insygna Partner to Bring AI Agent Cost Controls and Risk Mitigation to Enterprise Workforce Orchestration

Beeline customers can now onboard, credential, govern, and account for AI agents through the same trusted platform they use to manage their extended workforce

Beeline, the workforce orchestration company for the extended workforce, and Insygna, the first Agentic Workforce Management (AWM) platform, are making Insygna’s capabilities available to Beeline customers. They can now onboard, credential, govern and account for AI agents through Beeline alongside the people in their extended workforce.

Enterprises are deploying AI agents faster than they can govern them or account for what they cost. Gartner predicts that by 2028 an average global Fortune 500 enterprise will have over 150,000 agents in use (up from fewer than 15 in 2025). Gartner also reported that only 13 percent of organizations think they have the right AI agent governance in place.

Beeline has spent 25 years building the systems enterprises use to source, manage, and pay their contingent workforce. Earlier this month it announced the launch of Beeline MCP, which gives approved AI agents governed access to Beeline workforce data. The partnership with Insygna addresses a complementary challenge: giving AI agents verifiable identities and governing them throughout their lifecycles.

For Beeline customers, a hiring manager can track and manage AI agents as they would for contingent talent; procurement can see agent activity and cost alongside other managed spend; and finance can receive consolidated billing across people and agents.

Through the partnership, enterprises can:

• Issue every AI agent a verifiable identity before it is deployed
• Credential an agent against a defined scope of authorization, the way a contractor is credentialed before getting system access
• Manage the full agent lifecycle, from requisition and onboarding through offboarding and retirement
• See agent activity and cost alongside the rest of their extended workforce spend under management
• Apply rate cards, caps, and budget ceilings so agent cost is controlled rather than discovered at quarter end
• Keep a retained log of what each agent did, written in business terms a procurement lead or an auditor can read

AWM capabilities are available now to Beeline customers, with priority given to organizations ready for implementation in 2026 and early in 2027.
