Recruiter.com Acquires Feenyx to Help Employers Evaluate Candidates on Skills, Not Resumes

Acquisition adds AI-powered skills assessment, interview intelligence, candidate verification and fraud detection to Recruiter.com’s talent acquisition platform

Recruiter.com, a leading recruiting and talent acquisition platform, announced it has completed the acquisition of Feenyx, an AI-powered hiring technology platform designed to help employers evaluate candidates more effectively through skills assessments, intelligent interviews, candidate verification and fraud detection.

“One of the toughest parts of hiring: figuring out who can actually do the job.” Jesse Tinsley, CEO, Recruiter.com. “Companies should make hiring decisions based on what candidates can actually do, not just what’s on a resume.” Rocky Paap, Feenyx

The acquisition gives Recruiter.com customers a structured way to evaluate applicants on demonstrated ability, rather than relying on resumes and unstructured conversations.

The Feenyx platform combines skills tests, asynchronous and live interviews, AI-assisted evaluation, and authenticity checks. Recruiters and hiring managers get an evidence-based view of how a candidate performs, not just how a candidate presents.

“AI is changing recruiting in a big way, but we think the real opportunity is using technology to help great recruiters do even better,” said Jesse Tinsley, CEO of Recruiter.com. “Feenyx has created a strong technology platform focused on one of the toughest parts of hiring: figuring out who can actually do the job. Adding these tools to Recruiter.com gives our customers a better solution for every step of hiring, from finding talent to evaluating and hiring the right people.

To date, Feenyx has supported more than 600,000 hours of candidate evaluations, helping hiring teams assess technical and professional skills and flag suspicious behavior, potential fraud and AI use during interviews. The company has raised $25.3 million in funding.

The combination pairs Recruiter.com’s network of specialized recruiters and talent services with Feenyx’s AI-powered candidate evaluation. Recruiters gain richer signals to inform hiring decisions, and employers get a single solution to find, assess, and hire talent.

“We built Feenyx on a simple idea: companies should make hiring decisions based on what candidates can actually do, not just what’s on a resume,” said Rocky Paap, CEO of Feenyx and architect of its AI product strategy. “As AI changed how people work and how candidates approach hiring, we expanded our vision to include AI-powered evaluation, interview intelligence, identity, authenticity, and fraud detection. Joining Recruiter.com lets us bring these tools to a much larger group of recruiters, employers, and candidates.”

Feenyx will operate as Feenyx a Recruiter.com Company within Recruiter.com’s recruiting technology and services business. Feenyx capabilities will be integrated into Recruiter.com’s products, and current Feenyx customers will continue to be supported without interruption. The acquisition has closed.

As of July 2026, Mainstreet Holding Company had completed transactions representing $4.3 billion in aggregate value across its portfolio.
